TechWadi, a non-profit organization that enables entrepreneurs in Silicon Valley and the Middle East & North Africa by offering them access to mentorship, acceleration, and investors through events, conferences, and different other programs, is organizing its flagship event, TechWadi Annual Forum, completely online for the first time this year. The event will be hosted on Hopin on March 23rd and 24th (6 PM UAE to 11 PM) with the regular tickets priced at $110.
Tawfiq Abu-Khajil, Head of Digital at TechWadi, said, “The beauty of this happening virtually is that it allows anyone around the world to join the event and interact in discussions with some of the greatest founders, startups & investors of our time.”
The theme for this edition will be focused on what’s next for tech and the associated catalyzing trends. In addition to fireside chats, interviews, and panels, the event will also feature networking sessions for the attendees. The speaker lineup includes names like Careem’s Magnus Olsson, Amazon’s Ronaldo Mouchawar, Global Ventures’ Noor Sweid, Hopin’s Johnny Boufarhat, Endure Capital’s Tarek Fahim, and many others.
Hossam Tewfik, Board Member at TechWadi & Head of Live Shopping Product at Facebook, commented, “Since there was no need to physically fly to San Francisco, we were able to attract the highest caliber of speakers from across the globe. We believe this is our best conference yet to help build bridges between Silicon Valley and MENA.”
