Saudi Telecom Company, commonly known as STC, the leading telecom operator of the Kingdom has announced that it will close all its branches tomorrow, December 19, to encourage the usage of its digital channels. The company announced the decision in a statement and has also informed its subscribers by sending messages to each one of them.
The subscribers will have to rely on STC’s MySTC mobile application, self-help devices on different locations that can help with up to 37 services, and company’s SMS service (900) to look for/request anything that would’ve required a branch visit.
A company’s spokesperson, commenting about the decision, said that the STC Digital Day aims to promote use of digital channels and improve customer experience, especially after company witnessed an increase in customer satisfaction when they received the services on digital platforms.
