About three months ago, we started a blog for our upcoming startup Qraar. The idea was to cover tech & digital media stories from the region. We saw it as an extension of our startup but having covered about 30 stories in last three months, we have realized that it has to be a dedicated resource. We don’t want to continue mixing Qraar (the startup) with blog but at the same time having received positive feedback from our readers and the startups we’ve covered so far; we don’t want to close it down as well.
So, we are re-branding Qraar Blog as MENAbytes. This does not change anything with our startup Qraar in any way. We are still working on it and will be launching it very soon.
With MENAbytes, we will be experimenting different things – one of those experiments is Quick Byte where we would share stories that can be read in two minutes or less in forms of bullet points.
