Lucidya, the Riyadh-headquartered customer experience management platform, has closed a $30 million Series B round. The round was led by Impact46, with participation from Aramco’s investment arm Wa’ed Ventures, government-backed Takamol Ventures, and SparkLabs. Existing investors Rua Growth Fund and ARG participated in the round. The startup previously raised $6 million in a funding round led by Rua Growth Fund in 2022.
Founded in 2016, Lucidya has built what it claims is the world’s most accurate Arabic-language AI engine, achieving over 92% accuracy in sentiment analysis and natural language understanding. The platform serves clients across 11 countries in sectors including telecommunications, banking, hospitality, and healthcare, with a combined market capitalization exceeding $250 billion. Collectively, these clients serve more than 75 million users.
Lucidya’s platform processes customer interactions across multiple channels, providing sentiment analysis, automated responses, and customer insights specifically tailored for Arabic-speaking markets.
With this funding, the Saudi startup plans to expand its AI Agent offering, positioning itself as a digital workforce platform that can automate customer-facing roles across support, marketing, and sales functions, while ensuring compliance with regional data protection regulations like PDPL.
Lucidya is targeting the rapidly growing MENA CRM/CX software market, projected to reach $9 billion by 2030, according to its statement.
Abdullah Asiri, the founder and CEO of Lucidya, noted that the company “bet on AI back in 2016, long before it became a boardroom buzzword.” The early investment in Arabic-specific AI development has positioned Lucidya as a regional leader as enterprises increasingly seek AI solutions that understand local languages and cultural contexts.
Impact46 Partner Basmah Alsinaidi said Lucidya is exactly the kind of company they look to back; “founders solving real regional challenges with defensible tech and bold ambition,” adding that Lucidya’s “mastery of Arabic-first AI and traction with top-tier enterprises mark them as a future category leader.”
