Amsterdam-headquartered global payments company Adyen today announced its expansion to Middle East with the opening of an office in Dubai. The company that started in Europe almost fifteen years ago now processes hundreds of billions of euros in payments for thousands of companies including Facebook, Uber, Spotify, L’Oreal, and eBay. The company offers a range of online and in-store payment solutions and with its expansion to the Middle East, it will be supporting different local payment methods here.
We had a quick conversation with Adyen’s co-founder and CEO Pieter van der Does to learn more about the expansion. Here’s the full interview:
