Palestine’s Gamiphy raises six-figure Pre-Series A to help businesses engage customers and employees using gamification

Ramallah-based software startup Gamiphy has raised six-figure (USD) investment in a Pre-Series A led by Palestinian VC Ibtikar Fund, the investor announced today in a statement to MENAbytes. The round was also joined by Kuwait-based Al Mohallab Kuwait Real Estate Company and Al-Joud Kuwait Holding Company.

Founded in 2017 by Aws Alnabulsi, Gamiphy offers businesses with different plug and play tools (that use gamification) to help them with customer acquisition, customer engagement, and workforce engagement.

According to the statement, the startup currently has three main tools; Gamiphy Loyalty & Marketing, a plug and play loyalty program for both websites and mobile apps that comes with analytics and different marketing features, Gamiphy Branded Games with library of game tempaltes that businesses can use to launch campaigns, showcase products and offers, generate leads, and drive people to take action, and Gamiphy Workforce that allows businesses to manage and motivate their teams through gamification.

Gamiphy also has Shopify and Magento extensions, allowing users of these platforms to integrate it into their online shops easily.

The startup claims to have secured major contracts with companies throughout the Middle East, including Alghanim Industries, EmiratesNBD, Carriage, National Bank of Kuwait, and Beeline Telecom.

“After completing the Startup Chile program in 2019, Gamiphy has also solidified its presence in Latin America, with partnerships with Tienda Nube, Jumpseller, and FollowUp, as well as contracts with Cencosud, Starbucks, and Burger King,” Gamiphy said in a statement.
