Dubai’s Brand Ripplr raises $1 million to connect influencers and content creators with brands

Dubai-based influencer marketing platform Brand Ripplr has raised $1 million in a Series A round, it announced in a statement to MENAbytes today. The investment came from Dubai Angel Investors and other individual investors, said the startup.

Founded in 2017 by Tanaz Dizadji, Brand Ripplr claims to be the region’s leading influencer marketing platform with featuring over 55,000 content creators and influencers who have an audience of over 300 million users in the Middle East & North Africa across different social media platforms including Instagram, YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, and TikTok.

The online platform enables brands and agencies to create campaigns and monitor the marketing ROI to evaluate the effectiveness – which is normally a struggle with influencer marketing.

After creating a campaign, the brands receive a list of proposed influencers with est. price from Brand Ripplr. Once the influencers have been chosen by the brands, they’ll share the proposed posts through the platform. After reviewing the posts, the brand or the agency will pay for it and assign a date on which they would like the posts to be published. They can track and measure the performance of campaigns through their dashboard.

Brand Ripplr claims to be serving over 75 clients including some of the leading regional and international brands like Etisalat, Pepsi, Nestle, and Uber.

The startup makes money by keeping a cut from what the brand pays for influencers. In addition to having influencers form different regulat categories, Brand Ripplr has recently also added esports entities, gamers and streamers as well, to its platform, “[It is] a fast-growing influencer space that is proving very rewarding and attracting many major brands,” noted the statement by Brand Ripplr.

Tanaz Dizadji, the founder and CEO of Brand Ripplr, in a statement, said, “We built Brand Ripplr as a way to bridge the gap that exists between influencers and brands seeking exposure. Brand Ripplr plans to use the investment to expand its footprint across the region starting with Saudi Arabia.
