Cairo-based venture capital firm A15 has returned more than ten times the capital invested (10x DPI) to limited partners from its inaugural Fund I, it announced in a statement today. The exact fund size and returns were not disclosed, but the milestone places A15 among a select group of global VC firms that have achieved such outsized returns, coinciding with its tenth anniversary.
Founded in 2015, A15 has generated eight successful exits from the first fund; two of which were fund returners: TPAY Mobile’s acquisition by Helios Investment Partners and Connect Ads’ acquisition by Aleph Group. The firm completed its most recent exit in early 2025 when Link Development was acquired by Beyon Solutions.
“What we’re proudest of isn’t just the returns, it’s the community that’s grown around this work,” said Karim Beshara, Founder and Managing Partner of A15, in a statement. “From day one, we set out to be the kind of partner founders could genuinely rely on, not just for capital, but for perspective, conviction, and hands-on support when it counts.”
A15’s current portfolio includes 40 active companies operating in nearly 20 countries across the MENA region.
According to the firm, it has distinguished itself through deeper operational involvement than traditional venture investors, working closely with portfolio companies during critical growth phases including leadership recruitment, product-market fit refinement, governance implementation, and business development.
This operational support, it said, has helped its startups scale more efficiently and expand into new markets with greater speed, resulting in improved capital efficiency compared to regional averages.
